Anderson Kopp

Kopp is one of the more versatile offensive linemen out West, capable of playing just about anywhere along the line. He has played center, guard and tackle but projects best as an interior lineman and we like him a lot as a future center because of his smarts, feet and toughness. Coming out of Brophy, a program known for producing high end linemen, you know two things, Kopp will be well coached and very physical. He’s a plus athlete who can get out on sweeps and pulls and has no issues getting to the second level. He’s physical at the point of attack and can bury an opposing lineman or linebacker. He always looks on-balance, moves exceptionally well laterally and has the ability to reach block and recover on a lineman where it looks like he has no chance to get to them. He has just the right amount of nastiness to survive and excel in the trenches as well but it’s a controlled aggression. He’s a smart, disciplined player and has all the tools to be an impact player at the Power 4 level.
