Shows stack-and-shed strength and can relocate one-on-one matchups vs. the run or as a rusher. Active with a high motor. Displays above average pursuit relative to size. Still developing move set but flashes some encouraging nuance in counters. Technical consistencies can improve, such as hand violence, snap anticipation, and pad level. At his best when firing off and staying low, but occasionally will stand up at the snap when engaging. Power Five-caliber defensive line prospect who faces very strong competition at the Texas Class 6A level in the Houston area. Seems like a high-floor prospect who could develop into a reliable starter at the P5 level.
