Aycen Stevens

Has a diverse positional background that includes quarterback on offense but can project a variety of ways. First position will be linebacker but as he continues to grow, EDGE or defensive line could very well be considered. Already showed a lot of physical growth and development through his high school career and is an imposing specimen as a high school senior. Shoots gaps and shows burst to the ball. Sees things well and gets to the right spot. Will pursue ad run plays down. Change of direction is solid for a player of his size but he will have to continue to improve on that agility to stay at linebacker at the high Power Five level. Has some experience in coverage but will need additional reps there if he is going to be asked to do that in college. Certainly is athletic and long enough to drop into zones. Was injured as a junior but looked fully recovered as a senior. Has good upside and ability to grow into other positions makes him a safe bet to find a place to make an impact in college and will have an opportunity to play beyond college.
