Projection

4-7 Round Day 3

Lean, athletic build. Size not verified but could be frame-limited. Nevertheless, owns adequate size for what he will be asked to do at the next level. Owns varied positional experience on both sides of the ball and in the return game. Comfortable catching the ball out of the backfield and in downfield scenarios. Big-play machine at the Texas Class 3A Division II level. Elite track profile, including a sophomore 10.32 100, followed by a junior 10.38 and a 21.27 200. Speed manifests on the field. Displays great run-after-catch ability. Shows some slippery functional strength above his weight in those RAC opportunities. Athleticism and ball skills to play receiver, all-purpose back, or cornerback at the Power Five level. Should be considered in the return game early in college. Doesn't need to gear down too much when redirecting. Competitive in contested situations and plays above his size when necessary. High points well for a slot type. Same skills would translate well to corner. Top-end speed is faster than relatively low-slung gait may suggest at first glance. Faces large jump in level of competition. Will need to add mass to frame to help transition to P5 level. Route nuance should improve as full-time reps at receiver increase. Dynamic natural athlete with verified long speed and proven big-play punch. Projects to the high-major level with three-phase competency, but most likely at receiver and kick returner. Given athleticism and varied positional background, ceiling could be high with potential to be a multi-year impact starter and NFL Draft prospect.
