H.S. Scouting Report

Projection
Power-5 StarterPossesses good height and length with 6-foot-6 wingspan. Owns frame space to add significant amount of bulk in college if desired. Experience on the edge with a hand on the ground and standing up, as well as snaps inside. Active, engaged defensive end whose motor runs hot. Good run defender. Physical at point of attack. Makes a lot of effort plays. Shows some edge-bending ability as a pass rusher. Dips fairly well relative to build. Get-off consistency can improve. Needs to expand pass-rush repertoire and add technical nuance. Strong, aggressive defender but catches blocks and will need to improve hand violence/efficiency to consistently disengage in college. Functional athleticism shows on the field, but testing numbers suggest room to improve explosion. High-floor defensive lineman with physical tools to become impact starter at the Power Five level and possibly play beyond college.
