Johnson enrolled at UK in time for 2014 spring practice then played in all 12 games as a junior, mostly in a third-down defensive tackle role. Johnson made an impact on the field with four tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. He also became a fan favorite with his affable personalities in interviews. One memorable sound bite earned him national recognition on late-night TV shows.
