2014: In his third year as the Seminoles’ starting punter, Beatty had the best season of his career...averaged 41.0 yards per attempt on a career-best 48 attempts...22 of his punts were fair caught, and 15 more were downed inside the 20...had seven punts go 50 yards or more…his career-high 67-yard punt came in a crucial spot in the contest against Virginia...came up huge in the overtime victory over Clemson, placing four of his eight punts inside the 20, including one that was downed at the Clemson 4-yard line…averaged 46.0 yards on two punts at Syracuse…averaged 42.2 yards on five punts against Notre Dame, including a 54-yarder with the game tied at the end of the third quarter…was outstanding at Louisville, placing three of his four punts inside the 20 and averaging 45.2 yards…kept FSU in the game early with back-to-back punts of 53 and 54 yards against the Cardinals in the first quarter…punted twice for an average of 49.0 yards against Boston College…had a crucial 43-yard punt downed at the Georgia Tech 3-yard line with three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of the ACC Championship Game…none of his punts were blocked in 2014.
