Chris Hickman

Tall prospect who is thin for the position right now, but has the frame and length to add the weight needed in college. Played both on the ball and split-out in high school. Showed the ability to go up and high-point the ball and out-body defenders in jump ball situations. Shows good timing, catch radius, and leaping ability. As a route-runner, he shows good burst off the ball and a long stride which allows him to quickly cover ground. His biggest improvements in college will need to come from the strength program -- adding mass and strength while also improving explosiveness. He is a fluid natural runner, and comparing what he shows on tape with his recorded 4.9 forty, he looks like a kid who can get that down with training. The upside is here, but he is likely to need time in the strength program before he can make a bigger impact.
