Inside/middle linebacker prospect who flashes impressive pursuit ability and big-play acumen. Thickly-built prospect with good size as a high school senior. Frame may be on the limited side for bulk addition, but already close to college-ready size. Likely scheme-versatile in college. Flies around the field against the run. Shows sideline-to-sideline pursuit ability. Packs enough strength and hand-fighting ability to get through single blocks en route to the ball. Provides the big hit when it's there. Can improve balance and body control, particularly when dropping into coverage. Looks a bit mechanical in space when defending the pass. Occasionally sacrifices tackling technique to go for the big hit. Can be drawn into overpursuit. High-motor, physical middle-of-the-defense linebacker with the size, on-field athleticism, and playing style to eventually succeed as a Power 5 starter.
