Has played tons of snaps at receiver and could play there at the P5 level. Plays instinctive and diagnoses quickly from the secondary. Dangerous in short-to-intermediate range thanks to reactive quickness and closing speed. Ample snaps on the outside and the slot. Not afraid to get his hands on receivers. Plays fast with long-striding top-end speed, as evidenced by 21.65 PR in 200 meters. However, combine-verified testing numbers (4.74 40, 4.58 shuttle) suggest room to improve explosiveness and lateral fluidity. More of a speed-builder than a speed-burster. Appears to be a capable tackler, but has limited tape in that department. Plays with corner mentality but long-term home may be safety because of build and athletic traits. Should provide special teams value, potentially as a return man or a gunner. Legitimate high-major DB prospect with personnel flexibility who could become multi-year starter with all-league potential.
