Solidly-built edge setter with room to grow. True pass rusher with solid production against very good competition in Georgia. Great frame and first step and ability to pursue as traditional defensive end or from stand-up perspective. Effective in hand combat with some power at the point of contact and enough length to extend and disengage inside or out. Efficient to the passer. Can attack at different angles, get skinny and stunt inside on occasion. Solid motor. Can navigate the wash. Could use technical improvement against the run and as an edge setter but raw tools are there. Some position versatility outside with chance to eventually grow into interior contributor. Could work way into early playing time at high-end Power Five program with All-Conference ceiling later in college career. Pass-rushing prowess and production volume should lead to a middle-round selection come Draft Day.
