Career Honors: 2015: Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (spring). 2014: Academic All-Big 12 First Team, Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (spring). 2013: Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (fall and spring).

2014 (RFr.): Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team… Participated in 10 games on special teams and in the secondary... Recorded his first-career tackle at Duke... Made one tackle at Baylor.

2013 (Fr.): Redshirted his first year at Kansas.

High School: A three-star prospect according to Rivals, Scout and ESPN... A standout defensive back at Woodrow Wilson HS who was credited with six interceptions and five blocked kicks during his final two seasons... Also saw action on the offensive side of the ball where he rushed 54 times for 405 yards and five touchdowns as a senior... Hauled in six receptions for 119 yards and three TDs, while he also completed six passes, three of which were touchdowns, in 2012... Coached by Bobby Estes at Woodrow Wilson HS.

Personal: Selected Kansas after receiving interest from TCU, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Tulsa, Louisiana Tech and SMU... Son of Celeste and Rob Spencer... Majoring in environmental studies with a minor in geology.
