Also earned all-district second-team honors on the offensive line. Finished the season with 79 tackles, 18 TFL, 7 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, and 2 blocked PATs. Also credited with 42 QB pressures and 5 passes batted down. Helped Carthage to a 13-1 record and the Texas 4A D-II regional finals (fourth round).
2022: Played extensive defensive line snaps on varsity as a sophomore for a Carthage team that went 16-0 and won the Texas 4A D-II state championship.
