Boosts athletic foundation with past participation in wrestling, basketball, and baseball. Bends fairly well but height creates naturally high center of gravity. Occasionally gets out over his feet to compromise balance and body control, but the latter is pretty impressive in most situations when engaged. Can get more consistent use of above average interior length. Needs to get punchier, but drive-blocking strength and field demeanor provide tone-setting value. Seems like a simultaneously high-floor and high-potential offensive lineman thanks to physical tools, layered athletic profile, varied on-field experience, and live evaluations. Frame and snapping experience combine to create a versatile, ultra-valuable piece for an O-line room. Projects as a high-major prospect who could start multiple years before becoming an NFL Draft candidate, possibly in the first three rounds.
