Taller, longer, lean cornerback prospect with a good frame relative to his projected position. Undersized from a weight standpoint, but owns the frame space to add bulk. Two-way standout for Alabama Class 6A state runner-up as a senior. Motor runs high. Active and aggressive player who shows instinctive nature on tape. Relishes opportunities in press coverage. Quick-handed and physical in those situations. Shows the requisite athleticism in coverage, including above average agility and good top-end speed to recover when needed. Good ball skills. Length and playing style lend to encouraging red-zone coverage ability. Needs to improve tackling technique consistency. Too often a shoulder tackler rather than wrapping and driving through the target. Must add bulk to gain the strength needed to play at the Power 5 level. May freelance a bit too much at times and takes chances due to competitive nature. Can be too handsy. Owns the natural talent and physical tools to become a quality Power 5 starter and perhaps and NFL Draft prospect.
