Agile, quick, physical and athletic. Plays standing up and with hand on ground. Has lower body flexibility to uncoil at snap and dip shoulder to get around edge, and then explode. Plays with low pad level and gets under smaller offensive lineman to win leverage. Has great body control, quick feet and can change direction well. Strong technique with ability to vary moves. Shows strength to press off offensive lineman, disengage and locate ball carrier. Closing speed is impressive. Ability to stack and shed is impressive. Works through double teams. Can get down the line of scrimmage and keep runner from getting around edge. Shows speed and willingness to track player down with backside pursuit. Strong-handed when keeping offensive lineman from engaging. Has a nice swim, can club and also has dexterity to spin. Understands gap integrity and assignments, but will be creative at times in getting up field. Needs to utilize combinations more but that will come in time. Continuing to refine technique is important. All-conference-level talent at top 10 level. Early-round NFL draft potential.
