Scouting Report

Greg Biggins
Greg Biggins National Recruiting Analyst

Shipp is one of the more intriguing offensive lineman out West. For starters, he’s a true tackle and those are always hard to find. We had a chance to see him at Centennial’s College Showcase back in May and had no clue who he was since he missed not just his entire junior season but his sophomore year as well due to injuries. He has a long, athletic 6-6 270 pound frame with an 80+ wingspan and plenty of room to grow and add good weight. He can move really well, both laterally and getting to the second level and has a nice edge in his game. The Huskies are known for annually developing not just talented offensive linemen but kids who play angry and Shipp has some nastiness in his game. He’ll be able to play on either side of the offensive line and with his frame, fluidity and natural athleticism, he’s a player who looks set to have a breakout senior year and he’s definitely a stock up guy in our eyes right now.

H.S. Athletic Background

Shipp missed entire junior season with a knee injury just before the season. He has a great frame, moves well and should see his stock soar this Spring.
