Daryus Dixson

Dixson is the most physical corner out West and plays with the ferocity of a linebacker in a corner body. He’s a tough kid who can bully opposing wide outs and blow up running backs in the run game. He has a ton of length with close to a 6-6 wing span and uses his long arms and physical style to really excel in press coverage. He’s not a burner but plays fast, can shadow a receiver down the field and has excellent ball awareness. He’s strong in off-coverage as well, reads and reacts to the football and has excellent ball skills. He’s a highly intelligent corner who understands the game and combined with his size and toughness, should allow him to see the field early in college. He projects as high Power 4 prospect with an NFL ceiling as well.
