Has a stout build with good muscle mass and little bad weight. Not overly long but by no means small for an interior defensive lineman. One of the better athletes at the position in the 2019 cycle with elite short-area quickness and explosion. Backs up his athletic testing numbers on the field, particularly with his quickness off the snap. Shoots gaps and is able to create consistent disruption. Shows solid hand quickness and technique but can keep improving in that regard. Has the natural ability to track and make plays in pursuit. Projects as a 3-technique defensive tackle, at least early on his career. Will need to keep adding strength - which will improve his ability to anchor and hold his position at the point of attack. Projects as a multi-year Power 5 starter with the potential of developing into a mid-round NFL Draft pick.
