Comparison

Mike Morris Seattle Seahawks

A young defensive line prospect with tools that has put strong spells of play on tape the past two years while competing in Georgia’s highest classification. Size hasn’t been third-party verified, but it is believed to be over 6-foot-3 and close to 265 pounds. Reach is unknown, but is rumored to have some additional length in the arms. Could fit into a variety of different fronts and schemes depending on how the body fills out, but has found the most success to date crashing off the edge. Not the most explosive individual, but has a rare top-end gear for someone his size, which allows him to get across the field and make plays in back-side pursuit. Effective with both a long-arm move and a bull rush at this stage. However, needs to keep improving his secondary rush plan. Owns a promising multi-sport background as he also wrestles and runs track. Totaled 10 sacks and 15 quarterback hurries as a junior, but saw production dip a little bit as a senior. Must keep progressing and take to coaching, but should be viewed as a potential multi-season impact player on Saturdays. Has some position ambiguity to him, but is the type of body you take now and figure out later. Could unlock some things with improved flexibility and strength. Likely to thrive in a system that favors twists and stunts. Sunday potential as his best football looks to still be ahead of him.

H.S. Athletic Background

Multi-sport athlete that has also wrestled and competed in track and field events.
As a sophomore, made it to semifinals of GHSA 6A wrestling meet.
On the track, posted a 55.70 effort in the 400-meter dash as a junior.

2022: Got snaps at both DE and TE. Earned MaxPreps Junior All-American second-team honors after racking up 64 tackles (11 TFL), 10 sacks and 15 QB pressures.
