A pass-catching tight end prospect that can get the job done as a move blocker. Not the biggest individual having measured roughly 6-foot-3, 235 pounds multiple times, but won’t turn 18 years old until he’s in college should he enroll early, meaning that the body is still likely growing. Makes his money up the seam and over the middle. Plucks the football like a natural and can quickly make in-air adjustments, if needed. Adequate speed and a little wiggle allow him to pick up yardage after the catch. Has some in-line experience, but a year or two in the weight room is only going to make him more effective when asked to block up front. Caught 88 passes for 1,056 yards and 14 touchdowns his first two years at the varsity level and was averaging just over 20 yards per catch three games into his junior season. Will need to buy into the process at the school of his choice and put in the offseason work, but has the skill set to thrive in an offense that’s heavy on the 12 and 13 personnel and wants to find mismatches for its tight ends.
