Garrett Hayes

Square-shouldered with a big framed, wide upper body. Already has good mass with little bad weight. Shouldn’t have to gain much bulk once he gets to the college level. Has a strong combination of strength and athleticism. Is very advanced in the weight room and tests very well from an agility standpoint. Primarily works as a run blocker in his high school offense. Plays with a vicious level of tenacity, regularly planting opposing defenders into the turf. Does a nice job staying low and sinking his hips on contact. Moves very well at the second level and excels when pulling. Will need to hone his pass set technique as he plays in a run heavy offense. May need some time to refine his technique but possesses a high physical upside and desirable competitive character. Projects as a multi-year starter with the potential of developing into an all-conference player and potential early round NFL pick.
