Garrett Nelson

Already fairly filled out for a high school senior. Developed upper-body. His strength shows on the field. Physical player who can take on blocks and is a tackler who makes an impact when he strikes. Athletic enough to have played wildcat quarterback and showed speed there as well as the strength and balance to break tackles. Also played tight end and caught the ball well. If he gets much bigger, he could move to defensive end and he has played on the edge. Moves well laterally, but still can improve in man to man coverage if his college role calls for it. A hybrid guy right now whose growth in college will determine final position but strength, toughness and athleticism should get him on the field in a starting role.
