• Born Oct. 26, 1999 in St. Louis, Mo.

• Earned academic honor roll all four years in high school
• Brother of current Oregon State wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins
• Father, James, played collegiately at San Jose State and in the NFL
for the St. Louis Rams, Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets from 1999-
2006
• Chose Oregon State because “It’s a college town, a compact campus,
a chance to play early and an opportunity to get to play with my brother.”
• Head coach James Hodgins: “Isaac is one of the hardest working,
most determined players I’ve ever been around including my time in the
NFL. He is extremely coachable, lightning quick and one of the two or
three strongest guys I’ve seen in the weight room. He plays with a great
motor and uses his hands very well to shed and elude blockers, all of
which are important skills at the defensive line position. He is a National
Football Foundation Scholar Athlete. He loves to learn and approaches
his education as seriously as he does football. The quality which is most
impressive to me is that Isaac is his own man, he is a leader and is not
afraid to go against peer pressure or pave his own course in life. He is a
champion and I think that’s what OSU needs particularly right now, guys
who know winning requires hard work and aren’t afraid to put the hours
in needed to be successful. Isaac is a two-time Diablo Athletic League
Defensive MVP. He is the total package and OSU is getting a star player
and an excellent student.”
