Shorter cornerback with a lean frame. On the small side, lacking some natural size. Tests as a solid athlete, with a sub 4.6 second 40-yard dash. Plays for one of the top high school programs in South Florida and the country. Plays nickel for St. Thomas Aquinas and likely projects there at the next level. Quick and instinctive. Has natural cover skills with the ability to read and react to a receiver’s route. Quick off the edge as a blitzer and shows willingness and physicality as a run defender and tackler. Has some positional versatility as he can play safety in addition to corner. Strong player who will need to overcome his size limitations as he sees an increase in competition. Projects as a likely Power 5 contributor and starter with the chance of developing into a NFL Draft pick.
