New-age edge prospect with muscular build and plus-athleticism. Snap quickness off of the ball with fluidity and developed pass-rushing moves off the edge. Can stand up and rush passer with good bend. Closes gaps in hurry with long stride and above-average speed. Quick and strong hands. Some second-level ability but incredibly raw when playing run. Above-average coverage ability with length, good hips and stride. Instinctive with ability to redirect. Extension helps to disengage but needs to add upper-body strength to consistently play the run. Tools to set edge but limited sample as prep performer. Tests well relative to size and should be able to impact Power 5 front-seven as situational pass-rusher early. May develop into every down edge presence if run defense technique improves. Day 2 NFL Draft potential thereafter.
