Reminds Us Of

Jarran Reed Seattle Seahawks

Impressively built interior defensive lineman with enough space to continue adding bulk in college. Good height and wears his weight well. Flashes great quickness in his get-off. Shows good power at the point of attack and strength to shed blockers. A real hand full in one-on-one situations because of size/strength/athleticism combo. Encouraging tester with verified 5.05 40 and sub-5.00 shuttle. Potentially position and scheme versatile. Great fit for even-front tackle, but could also fit multiple roles in a three-man look. Sound tackler who arrives with a purpose while not sacrificing technique. Flashes impressive pursuit ability relative to size. Plays with violent hands but can improve consistency. Plays a bit high at times. Good athlete but can get more fluid laterally. Impressively cut about 40 pounds from sophomore to junior season, but may need to monitor bulking closely in college. One of the nation's top defensive tackles in the 2020 class. Owns high-major all-conference potential and early-round NFL Draft ceiling.
