A former three-star recruit, Jojo Kemp became the first freshman to lead Kentucky in rushing since 2000 with 100 carries for 482 yards in 2013. His season high in rushing came with 80 yards on five carries in a loss to Louisville as a freshman. After starting three games as a freshman, Kemp paired with Nebraska transfer Braylon Heard to form the one-two punch at the top of Kentucky's five-man running back group as a sophomore. Kemp started one game as a sophomore and starred in Kentucky's upset of South Carolina with 17 carries for 131 yards and three touchdowns in the wildcat formation but he lost carries as the season progressed and finished the year with 70 carries for 323 yards and four touchdowns.
