Intriguing international prospect that’s still relatively new to the game of football. Grew up in Germany doing gymnastics and playing soccer before getting introduced to a helmet and shoulder pads. Instincts might not be on par with others that have long been immersed in the sport, but hard to overlook explosive testing numbers, especially for an off-ball linebacker: 4.5 in the 40-yard dash to go along with 4.0 in the short shuttle and a 10-foot-2 broad jump. Tends to play fast and can quickly close gaps. Explodes through ball carries, oftentimes unloading through his hips. Has shown on the camp circuit that he’s servciable in 1-on-1 coverage and does have some experience attacking the corner as a pass rusher. Owns promising special teams highlights and has the makeup of someone that could make an impact in the third element of the game relaitvley early on in his collegiate career given frame and speed. Should be viewed as a freaky athlete with plenty of developmental upside. Likely going to need a year or two to get adjusted to the everyday demands of big-time Power Five football, but could be well worth the investment if he keeps progressing.
