Experienced as an attached tight end and flexed out. Frame potential likely dictates long-term comfort in an attached alignment, but catch radius and above average functional athleticism also warrant flex opportunities. Generally a hands catcher who keeps the ball away from his trunk.

Shows some downfield build-speed in vertical situations. Also displays some of that same build-up gear in run-after-catch opportunities. Productive on the basketball court and the football field, the latter evidenced in part by 23.3 yards per catch average as a sophomore.

Get-off burst comes and goes, sometimes depending on alignment. Can play a bit labored of the line when flexed out. Still has plenty of time to improve body control and route-running snap as he grows into his frame.

Enters junior season as a P5-caliber tight end with seemingly ample developmental potential physically and technically. Possesses traits to become a quality high-major starter with intriguing long-term upside.
