Medium-sized defender. Has some tweener characteristics physically but has matured over his career into a capable body at ‘mike’. Not overly long but well-conditioned and big enough. Plays with light feet and good lateral agility. Can navigate through trash effectively to find the football. Great feel for finding gaps and attacking downhill. Shows good closing speed. Effective as a blitzer with a high-motor and an ability to play through blocks. Plays running back and wildcat quarterback on offense, translating positively to many of the above traits. Athletic enough. Can show some stiffness in coverage but has ball skills and pass drop instincts. May struggle at the next level with bigger linemen engulfing him on the second level. High floor prospect that looks like a multi-year starter and mid-round NFL Draft pick.
