Reminds Us Of

Dre Kirkpatrick Cincinnati Bengals

Elite athlete that checks the desired boxes when it comes to height and length. On the leaner side, but should be able to add some bulk. A true playmaker that impacted the game on defense, offense and special teams throughout his high school career. Also a proficient scorer on the hardwood that had opportunities to play basketball in college. Superb foot quickness with the agility to mirror all different types of receivers. Baits quarterbacks into making bad decisions. Owns some of the best ball skills in his class. Outstanding vertical jump eliminates certain throws. Tracks well from off coverage. Constantly in read mode looking to pounce. Has been asked to press at the line of scrimmage in the past and is capable of redirecting wideouts with his hands. Can make a tackle in space. Not much verified testing data available, but has above average play speed and the wheels to recover in a hurry. Produced, especially on offense, as a senior leading his team to a state title. Will need to add strength and keep developing man coverage skills, but movement patterns, athletic profile and nose for the ball make him one of the nation’s top cornerback prospects. Likely to become an all-conference type of player and eventually have his name called early on in the NFL Draft.
