Thicker built prospect. Not as tall as other elite edge prospects, but has longer arms and has gone from a leaner body type to more filled in. Good pass-rusher who can get off the ball quickly. Has twitch and can dip his shoulders, get himself low to the ground and not give offensive tackles a clean punch on him. Does a solid job with his hands. Hustles on the field and pursues. The times he has played offense show his physicality in his blocking and also the athleticism he has as a pass-catcher. Is a classic tweener where he may be a hybrid pass-rusher for some teams or a full-time defensive end for others. Growth potential as far as adding more weight and staying on the edge is more limited. Should be a starter and effective pass-rusher on the Power 5 level, but upside is highest if he finds the right system.
