Long, slender edge talent with plus athleticism. Muscular body built to come off of the edge. Shows great bend and can turn the corner well. Long strider with above-average first step but lacks polished array of moves if speed rush is cut off. Length enables him to disengage with true tackles but adding mass and strength will round out game. Serviceable run defender with lower-body power. Good closing speed on ball carrier with active hands and reach in close quarters. Moves well laterally. Solid motor but could play with more urgency and take more efficient paths to the football. May need to stand up to see early playing time at Power 5 program. Considerable experience as traditional, hand-in-the-dirt edge player who may develop into three-down linemen before college career wraps up. Middle round NFL draft choice with early round upside.
