2014: Explosive freshman defensive end who provided some big moments in his first season...finished with 19 tackles in 11 games, including five tackles for loss, which ranked sixth on the squad...made three starts (Wake Forest, Syracuse and Notre Dame)…came off the bench to spark the defense with five tackles in the second half at NC State...that performance included 1.5 tackles for loss, including a sack and a forced fumble…the Wolfpack led 38-35 late in the third quarter when Featherston sacked NC State’s Jacoby Brissett for a 17-yard loss and forced a fumble that was recovered by teammate Jacob Pugh at the NC State 6-yard line – leading to FSU’s go-ahead score…started the next three games, including a career-best seven-tackle effort against the Demon Deacons, which included 2.5 tackles for loss...added a TFL at Syracuse…had all five of his tackles for loss over a three-game stretch in the middle of the season (NC State, Wake Forest and Syracuse)...battled injuries down the stretch, but had one stop against Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship Game and two tackles versus Oregon in the Rose Bowl.
