MJ Morris

A legit 6-foot-1, pushing 6-foot-2. Has tested exceptionally well at different points during his prep career making him a true dual-threat talent. A touch passer. Comfortable throwing on the run, but likes to establish a sturdy base when he can and square up to his target. Some of his best balls can come on quick one and three-step drops. Capable of attacking the deeper parts of the field, but could always find some more velocity and dial in the accuracy. Averaged 6.5 yards per carry as a sophomore. Didn’t have his number called on many designed runs as a junior, but that’s likely due to the fact that he injured his shoulder. Ability to move the chains with his legs and improvise when things break down makes one of the more intriguing quarterback prospects in the class of 2022. Will need to keep developing over the next few years and get more consistent, but has some of the required traits to win games at the Power 5 level. Likely to excel in a spread offense with RPO concepts.
