Scouting Report
Evaluated 03/05/2023
A gifted athlete that has done a variety of different things at the prep level. Opinions seem to vary on future position, but a case could be made that he’s looking more and more like a full-time running back after totaling just over 1,800 yards on the ground as a junior for an FSU School program that made the Sunshine State 2M title game. Has the long speed that everyone covets these days and is a threat to go the distance anytime he gets to the corner. Picked up a pair of SEC track offers after taking silver in the 400-meter dash as a 10th grader at the FHSAA 2A track meet. Followed that performance up with gold medals in the 200 and 400 as a 11th grader. Pretty patient as a ball carrier and isn’t one that’s going to try and outrun his blocks. Has experience taking handoffs out of a variety of different formations including the pistol and seems to always be able to get to the line of scrimmage. Could thrive in a change-of-pace role with his afterburners if he ends up playing offense, but rare length/speed combo could have him in a Power Five defensive back room.
H.S. Athletic Background
Also a talented sprinter that reports track offers from both LSU and Auburn. Florida 2A state champion in both the 200 and 400-meter dashes as a 11th grader. Also placed 3rd in the long jump. That’s after taking 4th in the 200 and 2nd in the 400 as a 10th grader at states. Owns personal-bests of 10.61 in the 100, 21.07 (-1.0) in the 200, 46.11 in the 400, 44.77 in the 300h and 22-10 in the LJ.
