Power 4 Starter

Williams is a long receiver with good height to allow him to win jump balls and 50-50 balls. Does a good job shedding press coverage and can box out corners he has the size advantage against. Shows good yard after catch ability and can take on contact and bounce off. Does a good job adjusting to throws, with good body control, soft hands and can sink in to the routes then burst out.

H.S. Athletic Background

Also plays basketball. Competed in track and field as a freshman in March 2020 (25.16 290, 5-4 high jump).
2021: Led Pittsburg in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns as a junior. Also got limited snaps on defense (7 tackles, 2 PBU). Helped Pittsburg to a 9-3 record and a CIF Division I-A regional final.
Spring 2021: Limited to one game (WR) during sophomore spring season. Caught three passes for 30 yards.
