Well put-together linebacker with classic linebacker frame and new-age ability. Physical specimen with college-ready build. Ability to command a defense and be the man in the middle with athleticism to play on the edge and rush passer on occasion. Solid polish as third-down rusher with good combination of quickness and moves. Played high school football at high levels in both Florida and Texas with great success. Plays with good technique and uses hands well against blockers in the wash and in space. Aggressive, yet under control upon contact though not a thumper. Takes good angles, efficient to target. Could stand to improve coverage ability and ability to redirect. Serious knee injury cut short senior prep season. As he works back, could take an extra year to get going before seizing Power 5 job for multiple years. Could hear his name called on the second day of the NFL Draft if he uses the down time wisely.
