Started right away as a freshman and has shown progression in his game each season since then. Good athlete who has also continued to play basketball at a high level. Plays in a wide open spread offense that has him frequently in the gun and in four and five wide. Has been asked to make a variety of throws and has shown he can do that. Sense of timing, anticipation and throwing into windows took a big jump as a junior. Can throw on the move and off-platform, and run a bit of RPO, but while athletic, is not likely to be a consistent running threat at the college level. Has the arm talent to make the necessary throws. Velocity is not quite at an elite level, but has more than enough to get the ball down field and on deep outs and longer throws. His trajectory is encouraging. That along with his baseline tools, size, and amount of experience at the varsity level all suggest he will end up starting for a major program.

2023: Finalist for Ohio Mr. Football. All-Blade Player of the Year. Led Findlay to an 8-3 record and the first round of the playoffs. Completed 258 of 376 passes (68.6%) for 3,377 yards with 38 TD. Also ran for 257 yards and 10 TD while averaging 5.6 YPC. Voted first-team all-state by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. Broke a school-record previously set by Ben Roethlisberger with 6 TD passes in an early-season win over Southview. Won the QB accuracy challenge at Under Armour’s Future 50 camp during summer months.
2022: Led Findlay to a 5-6 record and the first round of the playoffs. Completed 172 of 285 passes (60.3%) for 1,787 yards with 22 TD and 10 INT.
2021: As a freshman, started 11 games at Findlay, posting an 8-3 record. Completed 173 of 299 pass attempts (57.8%) for 2,420 yards with 29 TD and 7 INT. Earned first-team Ohio Division Northwest Division I honors.
