Sean McLaughlin

Tall, long prospect. Far from finished adding muscle and weight. Coordinated athlete who shows fluidity in changing direction. Once he gets going, has the speed to run down plays in pursuit. Disciplined, does a good job of holding the edge and not losing contain and does not overpursue. Can still get more explosive off the snap and add the strength to anchor in against the run. Should be a strong-side defensive end in a 4-3 or an end in a 3-4. Also played tight end in high school. Upside is there and we should be looking at a fairly different player once he gets a year or two into a college strength and conditioning program.
