Shane Whitter is a 6-0, 222-pound Inside Linebacker from Burlington, NC.

Has a stocky, compact build. Should be able to tack on some weight once in a college strength and conditioning program, but shouldn't get too much bigger. Is one of the best athletes among linebackers in the 2020 cycle. Has high-end long speed with some of the best 40-yard dash times among linebackers. Speed transfers over to the field, where he flies around making plays sideline-to-sideline at the high school level. Also saw time on offense. At his best as a space player who can make plays in coverage or pursuit. Will need to continue progressing as a downhill run defender. Projects as a multi-year starter at the Power Five level with the upside of developing into an early round NFL Draft pick.
