Natural athlete, especially relative to size. Flashes impressive closing ability in pursuit. Dangerous from the backside. Generally a consistent tackler who can provide the big hit in close quarters with impressive suddenness and twitch. Instinctive interior pass-rusher who should continue to improve as nuance and move set expand. Also shows point-of-attack strength and violence to disrupt run game on a regular basis. Get-off consistency has gotten better as a senior but can still improve. Plays too high at times and also arrives high as a tackler on occasion. Motor has gotten better as high school career has progressed. Senior year has seen production increase encouragingly. Will need to watch balance and body control while adding more mass to frame, especially when engaged. Outstanding defensive line prospect who can fit multiple spots and schemes. Will arrive in college having faced elite high school competition on a regular basis. Potential to become an all-conference D-lineman at the P5 level with long-term early-round NFL Draft ceiling.
