Projection

2-3 Round Day 2

A do-it-all utility man that projects as a cornerback in college, but could also get it done as a wide receiver. Made play after play on both sides of the ball as a freshman and sophomore before missing his entire junior season with a torn ACL and MCL. Quickly rehabbed from the injury and showed no signs of any lingering knee issues on the camp circuit. Limited, if any, verified testing data available, but looks fast and pulls away from people on tape. Owns elite balls skills and does a nice job of positioning his body to win 50-50 battles. Oily hips allow him to cover a ton of ground while in reverse. Transfers weight well and is able to fire in and out of his breaks. Rather comfortable on an island and understands how to mirror wideouts of all different sizes. Has already totaled 11 interceptions at the varsity level. Most of those came against topflight South Georgia competition. Likely to emerge as an impact player for a College Football Playoff contender given skillset. Must, however, stay healthy and remain focused. Will need to add some functional strength once enrolled at the school of his choice, but should be able to contribute sooner rather than later. Movement patterns suggest that he could eventually be playing on Sundays.
