Those traits translated to the field on Fridays where Herron racked up 47 sacks as a four-year varsity starter for the Kentucky powerhouse. Herron has the initial quickness and flexibility coveted at the position, an explosive player that will add strength on the next level. A playmaker that forced 10 fumbles and blocked seven kicks in his career. Played defensive end on the prep level but projects as an outside linebacker at Stanford.
