Budding quarterback prospect that has a chance to be a real difference-maker on Saturdays with his size, arm and mobility. Took a major step forward between freshmen and sophomore seasons and then again as a junior. More notably, has shown much more command as he has matured. Methodical as a passer with the velocity and confidence to attack tight coverage windows. Skilled enough with his arm to pump, reset, and then fire a tight spiral. Rather accurate on the move and can expedite release when pressured. Quick and athletic enough to slip away from pass rushers while speed and open-field vision allows him to move the sticks as a runner. Should be viewed as one of the top signal callers in the 2025 cycle based on what he has put on tape over the years. Will need to keep progressing, but ability to connect on anticipatory throws and take care of the football should lead to wins for a College Football Playoff contender. Likely to thrive in a balanced spread attack.
