Tall and has a muscled, physically developed build with a big, developed lower body. Tested as a good athlete in the spring prior to his senior season. Should continue adding bulk once he’s in a college strength program. Short area burst and strength are the hallmarks of his game at this juncture. Lines up as a wide defensive end and uses speed-to-power with a bull rush to overwhelm offensive linemen. Converts his lower body and core strength on contact and often pushes offensive linemen into the backfield. Closes quickly and finishes plays behind the line of scrimmage at a high rate. Looks more advanced as a run defender at this stage and would benefit from developing more pass rush moves at the next level. Should be effective as an edge setter once in college. Projects as a Power Five starter with the upside to develop into an early to mid round draft pick.
