Big, dynamic running back with college-ready size at the high school level. Impressive bulk that does not prevent explosiveness and big-play ability. Flashes terrific initial burst in the hole to get to the second and third levels. Shows surprisingly good top-end speed for a back in the 230-pound range. Owns high-volume capability while also providing the home run threat. Capable receiver out of the backfield. Reads screen game well and allows blocks to set up in general. Generally runs with good pad level. Dangerous one-cut runner. Does not always play to his size. Can improve lateral fluidity. Not a back who is asked to dart and dodge, but needs to get better in short-area agility in space. Best as a decisive north-south slasher. Can get bogged down when trying to juke too much and becomes overly hesitant. Potential to be a go-to back for a P5 program and should be able to get on the field early, depending on depth chart. Size and explosiveness mean he could develop into an early-round NFL Draft pick.
