Shows an ability to run and being a hard-hitting safety who is not afraid to deliver in a big hit when coming down hill in the run game. Is a fixture and calming influence in Irvington's secondary and a reliable tackler who finished his junior season with 89 tackles and showed ball-hawking skills with interceptions in the last four games of his junior season. Has verified size. Demonstrates an ability to open his hips to turn and run. During in-person evals, demonstrates the speed to cover outside of the numbers on balls thrown down the field. Tracks the ball well and times arrival well. Understands how to fill run gaps and he is willing to lower his shoulder and play physical. Angles taken in the run game are correct and he is quick to get to the edge. Is a strong tackler in space and often makes the play in 1-on-1 situations in the run game. Sometimes dips his head when taking on a ball carrier rather than wrap him up with a form tackle. Is inconsistent with drop depths and sometimes get caught in the middle of the field between the underneath route and deeper patterns. Has to be more consistent in recognizing plays in the passing game a tad quicker. Has potential to be a multi-year starter at a Top 20 program.
