Large frame with outstanding stature and height. Is one of the taller defensive linemen out there in the 2019 cycle. Has a frame to carry well over 300 pounds in time. A bit undeveloped physically and will benefit from time in a Power Five strength program. Tests as an average to below average athlete relative to his position. Strong run defender who uses his size and length win at the point of attack while setting the edge. Sticks out from a size perspective against his competition. Shows quick recognition and good instincts. Keeps his eyes up and does a nice job of reading the play. Possesses good flexibility and can sink his hips on contact. Has the skill set to play offensive line should things not work out on defense. Doesn’t blow you away from a quick-twitch standpoint or as a pass rusher. Will need to continue developing his technique. Projects as a Power 5 contributor and possible starter with the upside of developing into a NFL Draft pick.
